HereTask is built on Elixir and runs on Erlang — the same technology that powers WhatsApp, Discord and the world's telecommunications. Erlang was invented in Scandinavia and is designed for systems that must never go down. This foundation gives us extreme reliability and scalability. We also build on Phoenix Framework and Ash Framework — an open source project we actively support and contribute to.

We integrate language models (LLM) on our own infrastructure to assist with documentation, summarisation and decision support. Documentation from non-medical staff can be refined into clear, professional text. Data never leaves our servers, and all AI features run securely and GDPR-compliant — always with humans in control and full transparency.
